Swings have become an extremely popular activity for tourists here in Bali. Many of the original and best swings are located in and around Ubud, but there are many other swings spread all over Bali with equally magnificent views. We recommend you seek out the most scenic and thrilling rides vs those that are quite obviously just tourist traps set up for that ever popular Insta-pic.Here are a few of our favorite swings in Bali:
Bali Swing is the oldest swing park in Bali and offers swings ranging from 10m to 78m! Single swings, a romantic couples swing, bed swings and the ever- popular adrenaline swings are all available.
Access to the park is not the easiest and you can expect a lot of stairs, but you will be rewarded with a spectacular canyon view. This park is suitable for couples and groups; not as much for families with small children.
Various “nests” are spread around the property for photo-ops – all with amazing views of the canyon and waterfall. There are no limits on swinging time or use of facilities. Adrenaline rushes, unforgettable experiences and unique pictures are all part of the experience at Bali Swing.
All packages at Bali Swing include drinks (Bali coffee, tea, water) and a lunch buffet (including vegetarian options). Open from 0800 to 1700 (last entry) every day.
Bali Swing is a local Balinese company with the goal of providing exciting experiences, amazing views and introduce you the beauty of the island of Bali. Bali Swing contributes a large part of their profits to charity. They run a free English school for children and adults from the Bongkasa Pertiwi village as well as neighboring villages. Children and adults are divided into groups based on language skill, and they are taught English to improve their opportunities in the labor market and international education in the future. Bali Swing also sponsors education for children from poor families or children who have lost their parents.

Charly’s Chocolate Factory Swing
Located on the coast of the Karangasem Regency in East Bali, you will find a unique swing where you least expect it – on a remote beach overlooking the ocean. This swing is located in the midst of true Balinese village life – in all its unkempt, authentic beauty.
Located just 15 minutes north of Candidasa in the small village of Jasri, several unique bamboo structures lie nestled below swaying coconut trees. This is the first chocolate factory in Bali and was built by a US expat named Charly. Chocolate tours and sampling sessions are available in the morning at a unique ‘smurf hut’, where you can also enjoy some premium Balinese chocolate (not super kid friendly). After tasting the chocolates, head out to the other attractions in the compound – like a giant swing overlooking the ocean, making for some perfect holiday pics.
Entry here is just Rp 10k – a bargain! If traveling through East Bali (and we recommend you do), this is worth a stop to get the feel for rural Bali life, as well as enjoying the rush of the wind whipping through your hair as you breathe in the ocean air above the coconut trees in this picturesque setting.

Sidemen Bali Swing
Sidemen Bali Swing is one of the most popular swings in East Bali. The swings hang between coconut trees, high atop a hill, offering you a spectacular experience. Views of rivers, rice fields, surrounding hills and the sacred Mount Agung all add to the thrilling experience here. The price for Sidemen Bali Swing is inclusive of a welcome drink, cool towel, and lunch.
The Sidemen Bali Swing operated by a local company called Sidemen Adventures, located in the village of Sidemen, Karangasem Regency. Sidemen is quintessential Bali, with panoramic rice terraces, farmlands and quaint villages nestled in hills and valleys. Sidemen is not only about the magnificent views and landscapes but also provides a glimpse into the traditional Balinese way of life.
Sidemen Village is also known as the top producer of traditional palm wine called ‘tuak’. The product is also often further refined into the popular ‘arak’ palm wine. Local businesses producing these beverages are widespread throughout the village. A great souvenir to take home from Sidemen is the villagers’ traditional dye weavings. These are known as ‘songket’ and ‘endek’. The heritage textiles are praised for their intricate motifs and use of colourful hand-loomed cotton or silk threads.
