WATERBOM BALI IS BACK!
Waterbom Bali is excited to announce that we have reopened our doors to guests every Friday, Saturday and Sunday starting August 21, 2020 at 10 am. The park has implemented strict health and safety precautions for both visitors and staff, as the island of Bali slowly reopens to tourism.
Waterbom Bali continues to work closely with local health officials, internal health and safety experts, and WHO guidelines to ensure the safety of team members and guests.
Physical distancing initiatives have been implemented across the park to ensure safe queuing for rides and attractions. Additional safety measures include maintaining the park at lower capacity levels, offering discounted tickets via waterbom-bali.com to encourage pre-booking, staff and guest temperature checks, mandatory face coverings at designated locations, sanitization and disinfection stations throughout the park, and physical distancing reminders distributed in all areas.
Tickets are available now on Waterbom-bali.com. In order to ensure a safe and healthy experience for all, daily park capacity is limited, so pre-booked ticket purchases are encouraged. On opening day, August 21st, at 10:00 a.m., a limited number of tickets are available each day for walk-in purchases at the gate. Flash sales with generous discounts will be announced on the various social media platforms, so all are encouraged to follow @waterbombali on Instagram and Facebook to take advantage of the 24 hour website-only promotions and look for the hashtag #WBisBack.
Returning guests will be able to enjoy again the Waterbom Bali experience: all rides will be functioning, and most of all signature services will be available in the lush, outdoor tropical environment that Waterbom Bali is famous for.
“We know that right now — more than ever— people are craving safe, healthy outdoor activities that they can share with their family,” affirmed Sayan Gulino, Waterbom Bali’s CEO. “We are thrilled to be able to welcome back our visitors.”
Noting that recent social media posts depicting the pre-opening preparations and safety protocols have received massive likes and comments, Gulino shared “On behalf of the entire team at Waterbom Bali I would like to thank our customers, fans and staff for the outpouring of understanding, love, loyalty and support during this difficult time.”
“We have always had the highest safety and sanitation standards as an internationally recognized waterpark” continued Gulino. “With Covid-19, we had to completely reimagine the customer experience in order to implement the additional safety and sanitation standards that this global pandemic requires. Keeping our staff and guests healthy and safe is our number one priority.”

According to WHO guidelines, Waterbom Bali advises that older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions that might be at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19, remain at home. Guests should evaluate their risk in determining whether to visit the park. People who show no symptoms can spread COVID-19 if they are infected; any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19. Waterbom Bali cannot guarantee that guests will not be exposed during their visit.
ABOUT WATERBOM BALI
First opened on the tropical island of Bali in 1993, Waterbom Bali redefines the concept of a waterpark, selling the experience as much as the slides. Beyond the 22 world-class water slides built and maintained to strict international safety standards, the founders of Waterbom Bali consciously developed the park to compliment the natural environment, resulting in a carefully-landscaped sanctuary of gardens and water systems proudly representing the beauty of Bali. To this day, Waterbom Bali still maintains more than 50 per cent of the park as green space, including a number of endangered native species. TripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice Awards has ranked Waterbom Bali as the number one waterpark in Asia.
